The Wide AcrossEU project and LUC RDI-support services are pleased to invite you to the Future Funding Landscape event, which will take place on Thursday 25 September 2025 from 10:00 to 16:00 and Friday 26 September 2025 from 9:00-12:00 at the Arktikum, Rovaniemi as well as online.
At the event, we will explore the European Union’s future funding plans including the 10th Framework programme, Cohesion funds, the 2026/2027 Horizon Europe programme as well as Smart Specialization Strategies and their implementation in Lapland and Västerbotten.
The seminar is intended for academic staff interested in developments in EU funding instruments, especially Horizon Europe and Cohesion funds. The seminar will be held in English. Both in-person and virtual participation will be possible.
Please note that there is a cap of 100 participants for in-person participation. The places will be awarded on a first come, first serve basis.

How to get to Rovaniemi

To reach the Arktikum, you will walk around 15 minutes from the city centre. Should you be staying outside the city centre and arrive by bus, the closest bus stop is Rovakadun pää, from which it is still an 8 minute walk to the Arktikum.
